Car Servicing And The Human Anatomy
Car servicing garages are regarded as the automobile counterpart of the human doctor’s clinics. Because just like the human body, our wheeled machines also need regular maintenance and health check-ups. And when there is a need for these maintenance procedures, we usually call on car servicing centers.
Car Servicing For Your Car’s Health
Much like our bodies, cars are also made up of distinct systems that work together to keep a vehicle functioning at its optimum condition, and similarly, these systems also go through wear and tear when continually exposed to the various elements of nature.
But unlike the human body systems, car parts are not made up of living cells that have the capacity to regenerate or repair damaged areas and bring them back to their original state. That is why the only option to fight wear and tear in our vehicles, is to replace the worn out part with brand new one. This is why there is a need to regularly check up on the various systems that make up your car, in order to keep it in a “healthy” state.
The Most Common Parts That Need Car Servicing
The Brake System- A car’s brake pads are one of the most abused parts of the car, make sure to check the thickness of brake pads regularly and change them out before they become too thin, or squealing noises begin to emanate from them when you step on the brake pedal.
Tyres- just like your car’s brakes, the tyres also bear the brunt of the abuse from the roads and highways. Make it a point to check each tyre prior to every trip, check for tears and any other form of damage and make sure that the tire pressure is within the accepted range.
Engine Oil- engine oil is a degradable substance and should be drained and replaced at least every 12 months, in order to keep the engine in excellent condition.
These are just a few of the things in your vehicle that require frequent and regular maintenance to keep your wheeled machine in top shape. Contact your local car service centers for more information.
